tl;dr

Silk is rumik’s text-to-speech API, and I own its playground end to end. Users were blaming the models for flat audio, but the real problem was the prompts. I treated it as a product problem: five fixes built on one rule (teach in place, warn, don’t block), each with its events specced before launch.
